New Distribution Center in Sosnowiec

Construction of our new Distribution Center will begin later this year
in Sosnowiec. It will support sales growth in drugstores and e-commerce in Poland and abroad. Construction itself will take about a year, and we plan to launch operations in January 2026.

What don't you know about the new DC?

– It will have an area of 20,000 m2.

– The warehouse will be built and leased to Hebe by Panattoni, a leading warehouse developer.

– The warehouse will be built in accordance with Hebe’s specifications, which take into account the expansion of the product range, the need to shorten order fulfillment times, and increased productivity.

In order for this project to come to fruition, nearly all of our company's departments have been involved. You should know that each subsequent stage requires the hard work and dedication of a great many people.

• As part of the project, we have already completed several phases, which were led by the Logistics Department with key support from the Finance, IT, Legal, and Occupational Safety and Health Departments
  and Protection.
• The launch of the new Distribution Center requires the implementation of a new warehouse management system (WMS), which will be SAP EWM—selected as the target system for the Jeronimo Martins Group. 
• The SAP EWM implementation project was launched on November 14 and is being carried out by the Logistics Department (supply chain management, supply chain analysis, warehouse operations, transportation, e-commerce), the IT Department, the Legal Department, the Master Data team, the Operational Controlling team, and the Financial Controlling team.  A total of about 40 people.
• The launch of the Distribution Center also involves the implementation of a number of technical solutions that automate and streamline warehouse processes. Currently, teams from the Logistics, Occupational Safety and Health, and IT departments are working to select a suitable system provider.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but the opening of the new Distribution Center will have a huge impact on the operations of our entire company.
